Loes de Boer (1999) runs a photographic practice in the Netherlands. Her work offers a perspective on the fluidity of identity. Her creative process is rooted in personal reflection and closely connected to questions of archiving, memory, and visibility, with a particular focus on queer and women-centred histories.

Central to her practice are deconstruction and metamorphosis: images are reshaped through manipulation, sequencing, repetition, and context. This often results in installations and publications. Alongside her personal work, she applies her working methods to projects within fashion, art, music, and media.

After graduating from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 2024. Since then, she has been developing new projects and, in 2025, began assisting Paul Kooiker alongside her own practice.
